As a team, we were invited by Mr & Mrs Frost to provide a quote for laying them a new artificial lawn which would measure approximately 49m2.
What type of artificial grass was used?
The customer chose our most popular Willow 45mm.
How long did the project take?
The new lawn was laid over 2 days.
Can you describe the installation process?
For this particular project there wasn’t a requirement to remove original turf, the project area was just soil. Our quote details for the project were as follows:
1. Level and prepare new lawn area
2. Cover entire new lawn area with a geotextile weed suppressant membrane and secure in place
3. Overlay to an approximate depth of 50mm a sub-base of 6mm to dust granite chippings and then mechanically compact
4. Lay Willow 45mm pile of super soft and high quality grass
5. Effectively join where required and fix securely on all perimeters
6. Remove all spoil generated during the project

We had originally quoted the customer to lay both artificial grass and a 28m2 patio area using Riven paving slabs. However, after the customer had seen how the new lawn was looking, he decided that he wanted it all lawn.
What type of artificial grass was used?
The customer chose our Lush 45mm grass for his new lawn, with the total new lawn area being approximately 86 sqm.
How long did the project take?
The project took 5 days to complete.

1. Cut, lift and removed the original turf
2. Levelled and prepared the new lawn area
3. Put in place Oak sleepers to the rear and the left hand-side to help enable the levelling of the project area
4. Covered the entire new lawn area with a geotextile weed suppressant membrane and secured in place
5. Overlay to an approximate depth of 50mm a sub-base of 6mm to dust granite chippings and then mechanically compact
6. Lay Lush 45mm pile of super soft and high quality grass
7. Effectively join where required and fixed securely on all perimeters
8. Remove from site all spoil generated during the project
