for information
Typically, our customers are looking for a minimal maintenance lawn that compliments the rest of their garden including borders and patios. After the initial customer enquiry we offer a no obligation, no cost site visit where we can then see the project area for ourselves and we will bring grass samples with us for the customer to look at.
Once we have carried out the site visit, we then get back to the customer with a written quotation for the project, including any additional landscaping elements they wish us to carry out or incorporate. Once the customer accepts our quote, we will schedule a start date for the project.
Usually, the first step is to remove the surface covering of the new lawn area, and dispose of this correctly. We then level and prepare the new lawn area, putting a suitable weed suppressor membrane in place, before then covering the entire area with a layer of granite chippings. If the proposed area has an issue with poor drainage then we would first lay an agreed depth of roadstone and this would be mechanically compacted. We would then lay over the granite chipping sub-base the customers chosen grass, which would be jointed where and if required, fixed securely on all perimeters and we would then give the final lawn a complete power brushing which helps lift the new grasses pile.
Once we have finished, we make sure everything is cleaned up so there are no tools or debris left out. We then inspect the new lawn with the customer, to ensure they are happy with it. We provide them with the manufacturers guide for looking after your new artificial grass lawn and then that is us done. We are always on hand to answer any questions our customers have post-installation.
